Mary Brown's started back in 1969 with 3 store openings in Newfoundland. From day 1, every Guest that walked through our doors enjoyed the genuine hospitality and delicious food that are at the heart of our success. Our reputation for mouth-watering food led to store openings in Ontario and Alberta, but it wasn't until 2007 that Mary Brown’s growth really accelerated when Newfoundland entrepreneur, Greg Roberts, acquired the brand. Greg's passion and commitment to excellence led to rapid expansion coast to coast, north and south throughout Canada.
To this day, our consistent growth and success is a testament to our heritage - and that’s something we’re proud of.
