Safiah Arooz

VP DEVELOPMENT

Safiah has a strong background in Business Development and Franchising, managing the end-to-end process for new Franchisees throughout her career – from interviewing all the way through to ownership. Previous to her role at Mary Brown’s, she managed all existing Franchisees in her former role at New York Fries and South St. Burger Co., where she worked for over 13 years, garnering valuable insights into the QSR industry.

Jocelyn Attwood

DIRECTOR, FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT

With 18 years experience in franchise sales, Jocelyn has focused her career on building relationships and managing all aspects of the franchising process. Whether a full service restaurant like Swiss Chalet, quick service restaurants like Harvey’s, Hero Burger and Second Cup or a retail business such as Pet Valu, Jocelyn has established herself as a trusted resource within the franchise community. Jocelyn values her strong ties to the Canadian Franchise Association and other institutions who support Franchisees and Franchisors from beginning to end.

Lauren Dauphinee

MANAGER, FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT

Lauren began her career at a leading dine-in restaurant chain, where at 23, she became the youngest General Manager in the brand’s franchise history. From there, she led a flagship, multi-million dollar restaurant in downtown Toronto, gaining valuable experience in working with multi-unit Franchisees. Lauren also has experience in charitable marketing as the Lead Sponsorship Manager for Corporate Partnerships which supported Sick Kids Hospital and many more North American Hospital Foundations. Prior to assuming her current role, Lauren spent two years as a Regional Marketing Manager with Mary Brown’s, overseeing Central Canada, multi-unit Franchisees and executing National Marketing Initiatives.

Taylor Currie

COORDINATOR, FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT

Taylor is the newest member of the Franchising Team at Mary Brown’s, bringing with her a strong background in customer service, marketing and sales. Her role with Mary Brown’s is as your first point of contact – answering your questions and guiding you through the process of becoming a Franchisee! Taylor’s experience is ideally suited to this position, having worked previously in customer relationship building with leading franchise companies.
